Meet The Photographer
Kerri Cipriani
I’m just like you. I’m a woman – a mom of two – who’s had my own journey of self discovery. And now, armed with my camera, I have the privilege to support yours.
Together, We Rise
Body positivity and female empowerment have long been a part of my story. In junior high, my classmates nominated me to serve as a volunteer with a peer-to-peer organization that promoted healthy relationships and helped teens navigate away from abusive ones.
The mission was so powerful and important to me that I spent seven years in a volunteer capacity before leading the organization for another two. My job was to work alongside pregnant and parenting teens and with women who had experienced trauma, and to help them feel safe and confident.
Carpe Diem, Baby
I’ve always been creative and a quick study. When the skydiving dropzone where my husband worked needed someone to capture sky-high marriage proposals, I sprang into action. I loved it – and was good at it – and, before long, friends were requesting that I shoot their events.
I saw an opportunity and seized it. I jumped headfirst into a self-prescribed photography curriculum, studied under a professional wedding and family photographer, upgraded my gear, nurtured my point of view, established my niche, and carefully designed my Tampa boudoir studio. I invited women to join me for a fun day of self indulgence and discovery. They came, they saw themselves through a different lens, and they were transformed.
Full Circle
The link between my passion as a teen and my drive as an entrepreneur is clear now, but it took a little while for me to see it.
I earned a degree in hospitality management in school, honing my communication and customer service skills, learning how to create meaningful and memorable experiences, and distilling my business ethics. It seemed like a left turn from teen mentoring, but in hindsight I was walking the exact right path.
Today, I champion women in a way that equally enriches my soul as it does my clients’. I help women gather their courage, harness their strength, and roar. By the end of our boudoir photo session, they take in their own images with love, compassion and deep appreciation. They see their power, their magic; their body of art.
All the colors I am inside have not been invented yet.

Make-Up Artists and Yoga Instructors
Patricia
Yoga has been part of Patricia’s life for many years and through many phases. She feels Yoga has brought joy and positivity into life when facing struggles. She ultimately decided to become a yoga instructor because she is passionate about it, and wanted bring that same joy and positivity to others.
Patricia is a certified yoga instructor registered with The Yoga Alliance and completed her 200 hour teacher training through My Vinyasa Yoga. With a current focus in Vinyasa yoga, she has her sights set on a pre-natal certification next!
Patricia envisions making yoga accessible to all, removing the intimidation factor, and making all women and bodies feel comfortable and confident practicing yoga. Fittingly, she has named her personal yoga business Asanas For All Tampa. (One of the many reasons we just LOVE her!)
Patricia is passionate about women supporting other women. So being able to be a part of a woman owned business like Boudoir by Cipriani, that is celebrating the strength and beauty of women, is an honor.
She wants potential clients, or women considering the experience to know,
“You will feel so strong, beautiful and empowered. Do it for you!
Female empowerment means taking matters into your own hands. Standing tall on your own and helping others along the way. Body positivity to me, means that I don’t look like you or the next. I never will. But we celebrate those differences because that’s what makes us unique and special.”
Admit it, you love her too ;)
Every day may not be good… but there’s something good in every day.

Nana
Nana, has always been a lover of art, makeup, and celebrating women! At the age of 29 she made a life changing pivot, from working a 9-5 at the bank, to pursuing a professional career doing what she truly loved, makeup artistry! Like so many of us, she realized she was spending too much of her time doing something that did not bring her joy, and it was now or never to make a change!
Nana enrolled in esthetician school, becoming a fully licensed esthetician in 2021, and taking on clients of her own. She is a self-taught makeup artist, and is extremely proud of the skill she has honed, because she loves working with people and creating art! This is one of the reasons we are so proud to have her on our team! We love a self-made woman, and even more, a woman who took a risk to bring herself and others joy.
Nana’s favorite part of doing makeup is seeing women’s reactions to the end result. She loves accentuating women’s natural beauty and making them feel and see their own beauty. Nana believes using her skills to work along boudoir photography helps women feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. “Working with Kerri is such an Empowering experience. I think every woman should do the Boudoir shoot, it makes you appreciate, love your body and every part of it in a very special way. I believe that every woman is beautiful, sexy and deserves to feel special. ”
We are so glad Nana is part of our team, we know you will love working with her too! If you want to see more of her work, or are interested in using her for your special day, visit her website!

Christie
Since she was a little girl Christie always said she was going to style people’s hair when she got older! When she was 28 she worked at David’s Bridal selling wedding gowns when her boyfriend, at the time, asked what I wanted to do with my life. This question prompted a major life change. She decided she wanted to be a makeup artist and pursue her childhood dream!
Shortly after a friend introduced her to a makeup artist who owned her own Hair and makeup Bridal company. Conveniently she lived 15 mins down the road from Christie. She taught her Bridal makeup and let her work for trade. A few months later she was taught how to create Bridal up-dos. During the weekdays she worked a 9-5 office job and on the weekends she worked weddings. One day on break she called Paul Mitchell the school Tampa and enrolled for 2011. She now has a cosmetology license and a certification in makeup application from Paul Mitchell The School Tampa!
Christie has also freelanced hair and makeup for fashion shows, models for photoshoots and assisted with hair and makeup for film including commercials for Publix. However, her true passion lies with weddings as she has been doing them for the past 12 years… and now boudoir ;)
Christie loves using her skills to work in boudoir because it’s artistic, sexy and beautiful and she loves making women feel beautiful!
If she could tell a woman who is interested in boudoir anything it would be, “Kerri is very professional and makes you feel beautiful and comfortable in your own skin. She captures the artistic curves of your natural body and turns it into art.”
Christie: “Body positivity to me is loving every inch yourself despite what the beauty standards are today. Everyone was made to be different and that’s what makes you special and unique. Imperfections and flaws are what make you beautiful! Our scars remind us of the battles our bodies have gone through. Female empowerment is believing you have the power to achieve anything you want in life as long as your put in the work.”
I am not lucky. You know what I am? I am smart, I am talented, I take advantage of the opportunities that come my way and I work really really hard. Don’t call me lucky. Call me a badass!
