The Five Things You MUST KNOW…
Before Booking A Boudoir Photoshoot.
There are 5 things we believe you indisputably must take into consideration before booking a Boudoir Photoshoot. Let’s break them down and dive into what we think you really need to know!
#1 Your Body
Your Body…
…is Perfect! Bring your body exactly as it is! You already have the body you need to love and celebrate yourself. We do not believe in things like “loosing those last 5 to 10 lbs”. Self appreciation is not a moving target. It is something you deserve every day, in EVERY stage of life. Our bodies are works of art that tell a story, and we want to honor that story with your boudoir photoshoot! This is why we only retouch impermanent marks on your body, we leave everything else that is inherently YOU. We are here to help you fall in love with and celebrate every bit of yourself. We cannot wait to show you how we see you during your boudoir photoshoot.
#2 Your Confidence Level
Your Confidence Level…
… does NOT make a difference! Nerves are completely normal for a boudoir photoshoot. In fact, we expect them! You do not need to arrive ready to run the show. We are here to guide you every step of the way. From outfit selection, posing from your fingertips to your toes, facial expressions, etc. we have you covered! Let US work, you just get to enjoy the pampering and cheering section! The confidence you see in the women in our photos, comes DURING your photoshoot. We will help you ease into the whole process by starting with simple confidence boosting poses. Furthermore, we turn the camera around constantly, so you can see how AMAZING you are photographing during your boudoir photoshoot. Finally, we let you call the shots! If you are starting to feel more comfortable we are happy to help you try something new or edgy. If you are already at your max comfort level, we will roll with that and still create beautiful artwork!
#3 How To Pose
How To Pose…
…is completely on US! First, posing for a boudoir photoshoot is not one size fits all. Not every pose flatters every body. Second, not everyone feels comfortable or is interested in every pose. We do have some staple “go to” poses that everyone loves. However, we work diligently to recognize and understand your comfort level and YOUR body moves best. This is why we do not have a strict “pose flow” we stick to. If something doesn’t feel or look amazing we either readjust or move on! If we are not listening to you and your body the entire time we are not doing our jobs. It’s just like the saying “buy clothes to fit your body, don’t try to fit your body to clothes.” That is exactly what we are doing with your poses! Our team works to stay cognizant of your comfort level during your boudoir photoshoot. While we might help you try something new, we are not here to push any boundaries.
#4 Your Budget…
Your Budget…
…is entirely doable! We want boudoir photoshoots to be accessible because we believe in it’s impact. We will always be open and candid when discussing pricing with you, as we do not believe in the “bait and switch”. In fact, we discuss all of this openly during your initial consultation before you even pay a deposit. We also offer extremely flexible installment plans and payment options where YOU call the shots. You also get to decide how many of your photos you want, and in what print form, AFTER your photoshoot. We do not lock anyone into any spending commitments prior to viewing their photos.
